Gun Free has been around for years and works with dedication on public safety in South Africa. You may know them from their Amnesties, the anti-toy gun campaign, the new firearms control act and the many gun-free zones they have managed to establish in pubs and schools. Gun Free South Africa (GFSA) is part of the Gun Control Alliance (GCA). GCA is a network of organisations and individuals calling for the stricter control of firearms in South Africa.
Gun Free has been implementing the program in schools in Johannesburg and Pretoria in 2007, coordinating the trainers, teachers and with the Dept. of Education.
