Being blind (5 mins)
The whole group divides into pairs. Each of you then take turns in pretending to be blind by closing your eyes firmly. Now the sighted one leads the blind one along. Go for a short walk in or around the classroom or just outside. The blind person has to keep their eyes closed all the time and let themselves be lead. After a few minutes you can swap roles.When each of you has had a go at being blind and leading, have a small discussion about how it felt.
